The Way of Water
Remember this: "A year from now you may wish you had started today.."
You shouldn't just be drinking water to quench your thirst. Hydration impacts your energy, digestion, and even how well you perform during workouts.
When you’re dehydrated, everything feels harder:
Your energy levels dip.
Digestion slows down.
You might mistake thirst for hunger, leading to overeating.
Water is your body’s natural fuel, and staying hydrated is one of the simplest ways to feel better every day.
How Much Water Do You Really Need?
A good rule of thumb: Drink three bottles of water a day (about 2-3 liters).
Here’s how to make it easy:
Start your day with a glass of water, before coffee or tea.
Add a slice of lemon or cucumber if plain water feels boring.
As you age, you become less sensitive to thirst cues. So drinking only when thirsty is no longer enough.
By staying hydrated your skin will be healthier, your joints will be more lubricated, it decreases the appearance of wrinkle and it helps manage your appetite and makes weight loss easier.
That’s All for Today!
Take a minute right now to drink a glass of water. Your body will thank you.
